B118 Equilibrium Pale Coral/Pale Violet (50ml)
Details
Echo's Equilibrium Bottle was born on 14th May, 2020 at 12:00 pm BST. Echo was a very beautiful Oread nymph from Mount Cithaeron in Boeotia. Her parents are never made clear, but she was educated in music by the Younger Muses. Because of her beauty Echo was chased by both Apollo and Pan (this is also why this Equilibrium Bottle follows the Bottle of Pan), but would shun their advances. Because the nymph protected Zeus' affair by distracting his wife Hera with her long conversations, she was cursed and leaft only able to repeat the words of others. Echo admired Narcissus, a handsome youth from the city of Thespiae in Boeotia, mainly known as the son of the Potamoi Cephissus and the Oceanid Liriope. With no voice of her own, Echo could not call out to Narcissus, but eventually he could perceive someone was watching him, and called out. Echo could not respond to the question but could only repeat Narcissus' words. As Narcissus could only love himself, when Echo came out face to face with him, she was cruelly rejected and disappeared into the mountain woodlands. When we think about this story of Echo and the relationship with the unrequited love expressed by the Pale Coral, this Equilibrium Bottle becomes a focus on situations in which we feel that our love is most unrequited (Pale Coral). At that point it becomes so difficult to love ourselves, as we bring so much judgement to ourselves. By making that unrequited love more conscious, by showing more compassion to ourselves and suspending our own inner self-judgement, we might become more conscious in the relationship with ourselves. Judgement happens all too easily and frequently within us leading a state of inner fragmentation and self-denial. B118 is the other way around of B98, assisting us in transcending (Pale Violet) the inner fear coming from self-judgement by supporting the awakening of the Light Body.
