“The lower a person feels, the closer he comes to his true state and to the Creator.”
- Talmud
The importance of the relationship between the Tarot and the Hebrew Letters lies in the fact that they both are positioned in the 22 paths of the Kabbalistic Tree of Life to support the understanding of the passage from one state of consciousness to another that each path represents.
The Tarot are commonly known and used as an art of divination, but, in the original version, they are meant to express the metaphysical concepts of the Great Alchemical Work that man has to undergo in order to go back to oneself and the sense of Oneness with everything that is.
They are tools offered to each human being in order to understand the inner work to do, to resolve the inner mystery and trigger the change of consciousness required by the life situation one is experiencing.
The Hebrew Letters are energies/intelligences, known as the building blocks, used by God to create everything that is. They express what the Greater Life, or Spirit, is asking of us to realize and fulfil our life project.
Their correlation with the Hebrew Letters was stated in an ancient Hebrew text, the Sefer Yetzirah o Book of Formation. Each letter, as each Tarot card, has both a challenging aspect and one of understanding and fusion with the higher quality of the soul; their energetic combination allows us to further deepen the path of man towards Spirit.
In each Esoteric Tarot card, as in each Hebrew Letter, there is a potential for growth and expansion of consciousness that aims to be expressed through us in order to reveal the Unity of everything that is.
During this three-day course, we will analyze the correlation between the 22 Hebrew Letters and the 22 Major Arcana of the Esoteric Tarot in order to explore the aspects of consciousness that they share and express to support the journey leading to the expression of one’s potential.
