The Spiritual Meaning of Creativity

Different dictionaries define creativity as a phenomenon whereby something somehow new and valuable is formed, or as a tendency to generate ideas that may be useful in solving problems. Some of us think about creativity as art, music, gardening, or practical activities that give us joy and happiness, but the spiritual meaning of creativity is much deeper than that, and it deeply involves the totality of our own life.

In Esoteric Astrology the house, or field of experience, associated to creativity is governed by Leo, the star sign ruled by the Sun, the star of our Solar System around which all the different planets orbit. Our Sun is not just suspended in the universe, but in turn it rotates around the double star Sirius, the Sun of our Galaxy, considered to be, since the ancient times, our Spiritual Sun. We traditionally know Leo as the sign of the personality, children, hobbies, and sports, anything that manifest as a creative self-expression in our life. But this is just the surface of it.

Where does this creativeness come from? What is its origin? And how can it be integrated in any-thing we do to manifest the individual creative potential in life?

The higher aspect of Leo is the connection with the Source of Light and the soul, teaching us to correctly use our will in harmony with the unfoldment of our individual Divine Plan. True creativity is stimulated by the Soul’s Love, and it is the expression of the will to serve who we are destined to be. Once we connect to our true self, everything starts flowing and our uniqueness manifests itself in the world through anything we do, giving us happiness and joy, expressive of the Leonian yellow’s vibration of consciousness.

We will talk about it in 3 online classes. We will work together to support that inner connection to our creative source, to the yellow energy/consciousness, that will allow us to manifest who and what we are meant to be and become in life.
